Brief Biography:

Albino Barrera, O.P. is Professor of Economics and Theology with research and teaching interests in economic ethics and the interface of economics and theology. He teaches courses in economic development and international trade theory and policy. He has a joint appointment with the Theology Department where he teaches Christian social ethics. His most recent book is Catholic Missionaries and Their Work with the Poor: Mitigating Market-Government Failure in Emerging Nations (Routledge, 2019).
